The rc.local file is common to several distributions of Linux, it will be found in
and contains commands that are executed immediately after successful boot, but before a user logs in. Different distributions use different files for this, so perhaps modifying your login script would be more appropriate.
In your home directory
for instance, create a file called
and put the wifi initialisation commands into it!
