eth0 deactivates itself

Hi,

when i am not working at my Redhat9 machine, the eth0 interface deactivates itself after some time.
I have to manually reactivate it again if i want to access the internet.

Why does eth0 disable itself?

Me again,

i noticed that the computer also disabled the eth0, when im working at the pc via VNC.
Maybe the computer deactivates it because of power saving?
