What is "signalling type" ?

I have an A104D Sangoma Card. And I'm building a Asterisk system. I've learning about this just about 2 week. And now I have to install its driver, wanpipe.
My problem is when i receive this request :
Code:
Select signalling type for AFT-A104 on port 1 [slot:4 bus:8 span:1]
 1. PRI CPE
 2. PRI NET
 3. E & M
 4. E & M Wink
 5. FXS - Loop Start
 6. FXS - Ground Start
 7. FXS - Kewl Start
 8. FX0 - Loop Start
 9. FX0 - Ground Start
 10. FX0 - Kewl Start
[1-10]:
And I don't know what to choose.
Someone please explain me about these signalling type ?

Well basically it's the way that the existance of a call is signalled on the PSTN line, but we can't outright teach you all about IPT Signalling. Your card is a T1 so should be option 1 or 2.
