Any ideas on why I cant run batch jobs?
I am using 'batch -f runfile"

my runfile contains just some fortan program calls.

I read the log file after notcing that my batch job would not run. However it runs on other boxes on my network. I am running NIS.

So, I put the user 'rpcuser' in /etc/passwd, /etc/shadow, /etc/group
but still the batch run fails.

any ideas on this, I would really appreciate some help here.
