vsFTPS And virtual directorys

Hello
I have installed vsftpd. I have set it up to limit all users to their home directories. But now i want to be able to upload my website from school into my apache folder but i cannot get to it through ftp because it limits me to my home directory. So i wanted to know if its possible to make virtual directories on vsftp which make every thing i upload to the apache folder in my home folder go into my apache folder. If this is possible please can you tell me how?

you sym linked the /home/<username>/acpache folder to your real apache folder right? I don't see why this wouldn't work at all.

I had a similar situation with proftpd. My www data is on a separate partition, so I remounted it inside the chrooted area. You can use the mount --bind command to mount part of the filesystem somewhere else or if your www partition is on a partition itself, just mount it a 2nd time from your /etc/fstab. Just mount the folder in sush a way that it will replicate the location of the files under the normal filesystem.
