Upstream/Downstream stats

Hello,

Is it possible to have a program in the console or in kde that shows how many bytes are going upstream and how many bytes are going downstream over my adsl connection and my network connection?

You probably already have the console application 'netwatch' installed. You must be root to run it. If not, take a look here:

I know this is an old post and you may or may not care anymore and for that I apologize- just in case someone else wants to know. In KDE there is a program I use called knetmon runs as the user and it drops right into the panel. shows up/downstream and you can configure for your connection. I like it anyway
