unable to connect network printer with fc6

Using fedora core version fc5 I was able to set up two computers with a network printer on a windows system in 5 minutes without any problems. Using version (2.6.18-1.2849.fc6 i686)I have been trying for 3 days to install it without any luck.
When I select the "Windows Printer via Samba" the printer either does not show up under my workgroup or if it does I am unable to select it. When I use "Select printer from Database" I can find the correct make and model (Epson Stylus Photo R200) and it appears to install, but will not print.
