The disappearing and appearing linux machine using Samba.
Why does my linux machine appear sometimes on Ms Network Neighborhood and somtimes it dose not?
I am using samba-2.2.5-10 RH8.0
Here is a copy from Samba Web Administration Tool , Viewpage of my smb.config:
Current Config
# Samba config file created using SWAT
# from UNKNOWN (127.0.0.1)
# Date: 2004/04/06 10:03:17
# Global parameters

netbios name = PEN2
interfaces = 192.168.0.3
guest account = ftp

Why does samba say FROM UNKOWN (127.0.01)
Here is a copy of my smbusers file:
# Unix_name = SMB_name1 SMB_name2 ...

After adding users and group do I need to stop and restart anything??
