telnet access porblem


Sir

in my office we are using squid proxy.its working fine.as my office an online exam is going on I need to access few site from windows client machine using telnet, like www.2test.com 443. but i cant access these sites.

when I don the same from the squid server its connected.

what should I do?

help me pls.

why are you tring to telnet to it?? That's fine for testing some things, but that will only give you a SINGLE tcp connection, it won't pass through an application proxy if you're trying to do it transparently or something. If you're not using a transparent proxy at all, then it would just be firewall rules and the likes preventing your access.
