If you know there are many solutions for them, which of them have you looked up and tried?

Right. Squid is a WEB proxy, and has nothing to do with any other service. You have to allow the port to go all the way through your DMZ and proxy server, and it's either blocked on the internal interface, or the external one. You don't provide enough details to say which, so look at your network, reference the "many solutions" you found, and you should be able to see where the problem is.
