Smoothwall Issue (existing VPN)
We have a network with 5 locations. The internet router/NAT device is a Cisco IAD router. I needed to install Smoothwall content filtering at all locations. I took NAT and DHCP off the router and gave it to the Smoothwall. I interfaced the filter with router using a public IP.
Before I installed the smoothwall, there was a VPN handled by a concentrator provided by the ISP. Now that I installed Smoothwall, the VPN is destroyed.
I have installed other devices off the IAD routers with the same ISPs (such as a Netgear VPN/Firewall router) using the same public IP interface and I was able to retain the ISPs VPN.
I set a rule up on the smoothwall to enable all traffic from ANY interface to ANY interface (that means its wide open) and the VPN still is a no-go. Any ideas?? I don't want to use the Smoothwall VPN because I am paying for the ISPs and I want that to work. Thanks!!
