small squid question.

Hi,

I am running squid as a web accelerator for apache. My apache is on localhost:80 and my squid is on 10.0.0.10:80 and is working fine except I want to have wildcard subdomains instead of having to add every "127.0.0.1 subdomain.domain.com subdomain2.domain.com......", etc into my /etc/hosts. Does anyone know a way to tell squid to accept "*.domain" somehow? I know there has to be an easier way.

Thanks,

Think this is a DNS setup issue rather than squid related. (correct me if I'm wrong)
Have you set up wildcard DNS entries in your DNS server?

no i haven't, i'm thinking my squid is compiled with --enable-internal-dns and is using my /etc/hosts.
