Just a small question

Does Slack automatically add icons to the KDE menu like just about every other major distro?

Say I compile nano, I don't see nano pop up in the KDE menu like it would in, for example, SuSE.

Any program that integrates with KDE will usually add its own menu entry, otherwise you will most likely need to do it manually if you want them.

There were a couple of non KDE programs I tried out that added menu entries but I don't recall offhand what they were, since I didn't keep them long.

KDE provides a utility to find programs that aren't on the menu, look in the menus for it (i don't use KDE anymore i don't remember exactly where it was, but it was on some menu)
