Site Forwarding to another box

hi guys i've worked out how to throw a link to another machine.

like so

<IfModule mod_alias.c>
Redirect permanent /windows http://<external ip>:81
</IfModule>

is there a way to forward to a local machine with out changing the port

EG: url would be http://www.my_domain/testbox/

testbox IP 192.168.1.24

EG

<IfModule mod_alias.c>
Redirect permanent /testbox http://192.168.1.24:80
</IfModule>

But ? are outsiders going to be able to view it ?
