I have a domain name that I have purchased with several mail accounts for family members. I would like to setup a system at home that I can use to relay messages to the ISP server for each of the users. I am using Sendmail 8.13.1 on a Red Hat computer. My sendmail.mc file has the following options defined:
Code:
define(`SMART_HOST',`mail.somehost.com')
define(`ALIAS_FILE', `/etc/aliases')dnl
define(`confAUTH_OPTIONS', `A p')dnl
FEATURE(`access_db',`hash -T<TMPF> -o /etc/mail/access.db')dnl
dnl DAEMON_OPTIONS(`Port=smtp,Addr=127.0.0.1, Name=MTA')dnl
MASQUERADE_AS(`somehost.com')dnl
FEATURE(masquerade_envelope)dnl
/etc/mail/access contains the following entries:
Code:
192.168.1.3 RELAY
AuthInfo:mail.somehost.com "U:someuser" "I:someone@somehost.com" "P:password" "M:LOGIN"
I need to be able to have multiple users send mail through this central mail server on my home network, and I would like to require users to authenticate in order to relay. 192.168.1.3 is the IP address of my wife's PC on my home network. Both my wife and I have separate email accounts on the ISP server. Can I have the server send my wife's mail using her address/credentials and my mail using my address/credentials?
Thank you for any help I can get,
Alex
