Segmentation Fault when installing pptp client

I just installed slackware and would like to get my internet connection up and running. This connects through an pptp(vpn) connection. I got it up on Mdk, wich I am currently using, but when I install the package on Slackware, I get a segmentation fault.
What does this mean? Is it because of the package I wanted to install or because of something else. It didn't say:
rpm: Segmentation Fault
but just
Segmentation Fault

tnx,
elluva
