samba mounts ?

Greetings, I'm running a multi boot (2)Lnx/Win2k box .
Till recently I've been accessing some Win share drives
with Samba by using fstab entries like:
"//DaWinSvr/xFolder /mnt/MyLocalDir/xFolder smbfs username=myUser,password=myPasswd,workgroup=XYZ 1 1"

All's been working fine till... (?) On both
my Linux installations (I have FC3/Wbx), the mounts now fail with a
"SMB connection failed.... ERRHRD - ERRgeneral (General failure)"
or similar message.

I assumed my password (on Win2k) had expired, etc. I've
reset it on my Windows user side, but still no luck with these
mounts back on Linux. I seem to have no problem accessing
these same share folders from Win2k as a user.

Note, I can use my Nautilus browser... which shows me the
top level Win share dirs. by using "smb://DaWinSvr". If I double
click a folder, I'm prompted with a user/domain/passwd
dialog that seems to let me in another dir. level. But I
have no read access in there. Not sure why.

Also, "smbclient -L DaWinSvr -N" lists (anonymous) all the share
names, type, etc fine. But not sure why I can mount these
drives at linux bootup anymore. Any suggestions on
what to look for are appreciated.

Sorry if this is not the right place to post this.

domain name changed :-(

It was a domain (or workgroup) name change that was causing
Samba mounts to fail. I was unaware. The mounts are fine now.
