I had been set up a samba server.
I can browse the samba server from MS Windows.
When I double clicks on the server, its pop-up a login box."
How can I connect the samba server from MS Windows without try any password?
Should I must add samba user as same as windows user and password?
My samba script as belowing:

I got the same problem for Samba Login.
I can browse the samba server from the MS Windows.
When I double clicks on the server, its pop-up a (Connect to "samba Server" "login box")
I keep trying login as my username and password, But the login screen still remain there.
I had restart the samba services, It's still can't work.

in some cases u need to add a samba user at ur side if u specifying in ur smb.conf to map the user to /etc/samba/smbusers
so first try out on the linux machine a user on samba servedr by
#smbclient '//<ip of the linux machine>/homes' -U username
it will ask for the password
and if u r validated here
use the same while from windows to linux
and 'johnling' also pl. specify at first u r able to browse ur samba machine but double clickingg on that does not allows u to login,,,so how u r able to browse ur linux machine
In case , I want to use share folder from samba server while i use MS Win 2K.
It is possible use NT server a/c without create samba a/c and i can connect share folder without input any password?
