router wifi Zyxel LAN ethernet port malfunctioning

Hello
i m experiencing a nightmare trying to figure out what causes the malfunctioning of LAN ethernet ports of my wifi router.
I have a Zyxel P660-HW-D1, with 4 Fast Ethernet ports,
and i have 4 devices connected to them.
The fact is that if the router sees the 4 devices powered, with NIC alive, the traffic on the LAN port is slowed down (let's say unsusable).
To have the LAN working i have to disconnect or power off one of the 4 devices connected to the 4 ports.
Therefore with 3 devices the LAN is working properly.
No problem in any case on WIFI traffic ..

I m suspecting a HW problem, in fact it ssems the router cannot manage 4 LAN connections.
I have also tried to update firmware but any improvement has been brought to the problem.

Is it possible that power supply is the cause? The router is 4 years old.

thanks for your help

It could be too hot inside when 4 connection is established. You can open box and bring a fan to close it if no internal fan inside box. Don't do it if there is a internal fan.

Normally, wifi functionality is on different chip.
