Question Redhat 7.2 and Cox.net

Am I missing something here?

My NIC is a intel card that is supported by redhat 7.2. According to ifconfig everything is working ok. Is there something that I am missing? I have gathered network info from my windoze machine and entered it into the nix box to no avail. DHCP does not work on the nix. I'm confused. Please advise.
