Wink PPPoE and promiscuous mode


I use PPPoE connection for Internet. Does promiscuous mode will help me to access those packets which are not for me ???

You are referring to sniffing traffic that is not intended for you. But you wont be able to do that on your connection.
For sniffing traffic you need to be connected to a hub or a wifi or maybe do a arp poisoning on a switched network.
