[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
hi everybody
i use ipaudit to monitor the traffic on my network and i have promiscuous mode enabled on one of my interfaces
i would like to know if leaving my interface in promiscuous mode represents any vulnerability to my gateway

Should normally not, but if you're paranoid about it, have a special device just for listening and make a special cable for it that has only the receive lines connected.
