ospf routing on linux 2.6

Hi everyone.
I’ve had a google around for some direction in setting up a linux box (2.6) to do ospf routing. I’ve found information relating to some older solutions (zebra, gated) but as stated this information seems very old.

Has anyone had any good experiences in this endeavour and if so what would you recommend.

As always any feedback is greatly appreciated.

It's often that you do not find the informations with Google so what you must do first is not read only informations about open shoutest path first. You That's because you do not understand all the background, for exemple if you want to inplenebt httpd, you must start from understanding : server-client, httpd rfc...
So how to implement something is for you to deduce after understanding open shortest path first until its root.

I should have pointed out that I have configured ospf amongst other routing protocols on cisco equipment and am interested in peoples success / difficulties when doing the same on Linux.
