NFS in Redhat 9

I have been trying to network two computers both with Redhat 9 on them, they are connected through a hub with ip addresses 192.168.1.101 and 192.168.1.102. I have been following the directions on http://www.troubleshooters.com/linux/nfs.htm, except I have not put anything in host.deny. When I try to run the command "mount -t nfs -o rw 192.168.1.101:/home /mnt/share" I get "mount: RPC: remote system error - Connection refused" and if I change the ip to end in 255, "Connection refused" becomes "Network unreachable". Does anyone know what's wrong or a good step by step tutorial?

Thanks

for a good tutorial: http://nfs.sourceforge.net/nfs-howto/
For what's wrong... I think we need more info to really help you. For example can you reach 101 from 102 with an ICMP echo request (a ping)??? What "rpcinfo" give you as info???

I can ping the other box. When I type rpcinfo it says "bash: rpcinfo: command not found"

Thanks

@akurtis

Try running portmap daemon on both the server and client m/c and get back here for further query.
