Network suddenly stopped on Slack

Hi,

Iīm having a strange problem. I have a computer with Slack 10.1 and everything was working fine. Today when i tried to access apache on it, i did not got any response. Them the problems began.
I have checked everything but the network have just stopped. The netcard seens to be fine, since when i pull off the cable it shows link down and link up the i connect it again.
The netconfig is fine, since i didnīt changed anything at all. I canīt ping neither external or internal ip.

What can i do? What else should i check?

Thanks!

Have you tried swapping out the cable itself (if that's even possible?) I've had this exact same thing happen in the past, and have discovered that the cable itself went bad.

I have solved the (stupid) problem. It seens like the PCI slot stopped working. Just changin the network card to another slot solved the problem.

Thanks for the answer.
