strange but true

Im booting pxelinux from a win98 computer, in the bootdir are 4 files,
vmlinuz (from fedora core 4 pxeboot dir) initrd.gz (from the same)
pxelinux.0 (peter anvin is a rock star) and zenwalk-1.2.iso (for whatever
reason) since i cant find an FTP site that supports my fedora ftp installation
options, and since its anaconda installer wont let me escape and utilize its
tools to download and write anything .. i hit reboot, halfassed had it boot
vmlinuz and discovered that after loading fedoras vmlinuz, it jumped into
the iso somehow and gave me zenwalk's setup installation messages,
although 'setup' didnt work and i couldnt find the rest of the iso anywhere,
busybox and all its utilities did appear ..
anyway i could still use some help, er- i could REALLY use a kernel that
supports 3c509x ethernet cards, ata hard drives and has a tftp client built
in (or in the initrd, since i -think- thats where 'ls' and 'mount' are hiding,
something so simple yet so hard to attain) have fun folx, i know i am

ps. .. downloads.fedora.redhat.com does actually exist so im gona
recreate from there, then make a distro along the lines of that which
i wish i had. any suggestions on the name? its gona be big i tell ya**
