Hi,

I am try to install on my centos 5.1.

I have install the nagios 2.9 according as:

But when I try to run the comand: /usr/bin/nagios stop it shows me error

[root@fw-global nagios]# /usr/bin/nagios stop

What is wrong?

I believe you want to run "/etc/init.d/nagios start" or "/etc/init.d/nagios stop".
"/usr/bin/nagios" is the main program which is started by "/etc/init.d/nagios".
You may run "/usr/bin/nagios -v" to check your configurations files before you try to start nagios itself.
