multiple essid problems

Hi!

I am in an environment where i receive signals(beacons) from several wireless access points(2 from my ipv6 and rest from others).

I need to perform my experiment on ipv6 strictly. So i dont want my network card to connect to the other essids.

is there any way to alow my card to only connect to my presered essid.

can i block beacons from the other accesspoints.

need help urgently. I have thus far tried:
firewalls, wpasupplicant they dont seem to work.

thanks in advance,
shariq

Cool

IF I understand YOUR model correctly...try IPtables, a router or a switch. This would funnel the desired packet flow with restrictions that can be pre-selected. Good luck.
