I did a Knoppix 3.2 hard drive install. I must have set up my networking wrong, as I had no connectivity. I've used ifconfig to set up my ip correctly (I don't use dhcp on my network), and I can access the router, but I can't access the net. I've verified that the nameserver in /etc/resolv.conf is correct, and I know my ip and netmask are correct, so that only leaves my gateway as being set wrong. The problem is, Knoppix doesn't have an /etc/rc.conf file to set it, and I can't find any programs in the menu's to set it. Anyone know how I can do it? I really would prefer not to have to reinstall everything just to fix the gateway. Thanks.
