Incomplete Network Connection through WLAN - No Internet

I have a home network based on a SITECOM WL-366 router.
I have ten different devices connecting to it (computers - LINUX / Windows), Smart phones (apple, Android, BB, Nokia).

However one computer causes problems (HP pavillon dv 6 - the biggest piece of crap I ever used btw):

the network manager shows a connection to my network

ifconfig wlan0 shows the interface with ip address, a certain number of Tx Rx packets - seems all normal thus;

Ping 127.0.0.1 - shows correct behaviour (no loss of packets, standard delais)

However ping 198.162.0.1 (the router) is stuck, i.e. no packet returned from the router

So, any ideas what I can do here?

Ah yes an other clue: The same computer connects to other networks all right ....

Post the out put of this command (root needs to run this command):

Code:
ifconfig
What does this command return:

Code:
netstat -rn
Also ... what do you have in this file:

Code:
/etc/resolv.conf

Thanks for your quick reply. Here are the requested details.
Netstat -rn:

Kernel IP routing table
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags MSS Window irtt Iface
0.0.0.0 192.168.0.1 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 wlan0
169.254.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.0.0 U 0 0 0 wlan0

192.168.0.1 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255 UH 0 0 0 wlan0

Remark:
netstat -rn on a running configuration (the laptop used to post this looks slightly different in the last line:
