How to have iptables disconnect active connections?

I am working on a script to setup iptables rules to drop active connections to specific ports. I have it working to drop and block all new incoming connections, but can not figure out how to get it to also drop active connections already connected to the server.

Any and all help, thoughts, and opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
Xygoteneph
