how can i configure komba2/smb4k to browse multiple subnets
Hi,
I need to know how to configure komba2/smb4k to browse multiple subnets located in different locations.
Through command line, I am able to mount the shares successfully, but through komba2/smb4k GUI, i got "Connection to "servername "failed" message.
I keep on messing smb.conf for last two days, but in vein.
I am very keen to connect a Windows NT4.0 server, i am able to ping it. This m/c is located in another subnet. I am able to resolve it also.
we are using class b network, 172.30 subnets.
i am able to ping through its ip address, its name is resolved through dns , iam able to resolve it using nslookup.
i am unable to ping it through its NetBIOS name.
The windows nt4.o m/c in question is located in another subnet..
Hoping for fast reply
