host command


Hi

how to add interface option in host command?



If can`t ,what command is good ?
I have 2 NICs so I want to know which interface was used host command
I want to test my internet link of each interface.example
ping command ==> ping -I eth1 www.google.com
ping -I eth2 www.google.com
Why I can`t use ping command? Because of My ISP was deny all ping of IP.

You should be able to tell which NIC is used by looking at the output of "route".

If you want to force traffic through a second NIC, you could change your routes or try using the traceroute command.

See man traceroute for that.

traceroute can only 1 time.
I want get continuous result.

My target is

I want to know internet link is up or not without gateway.
Sir can you help me?
Now I am trying with tcping but when gateway delete tcping can`t ping
