Having Linux register with Windows DNS server


Is there anyway of having linux register it's hostname on a Windows network? We have 2 win2k DNS servers running.

yeah but i believe you have to integrate it with dhcp
os that ip's get assigned by mac addresses and and that particular ip address has a dns hostname assigned to it in the win2k dns
might be a pain if its too many clients
