Also make sure you have created samba users with smbadduser as well. When joining a domain you should also do it as root.
Hey David, as i said i am a newbie to this whole Linux thing, i have picked up alot with in the last couple of days. but, can you please clarify step by step how to add samba users?
And is SWAT an option with Red hat 9
