fix ip address


Hi all

When I install linux first, I don't setup ip address for ethernet card on active boot. So every linux turn on, I have to setup ip address manual. Now I want fix ip address that every linux turn on, I don't setup ip address manual.

It depends on your distribution.
If you use Redhat - the easiest way is to run system-config-network as root.
