Firestarter & Samba Problem

Hello,

I already searched the forums for my particular question, but could not find anything.

I just installed Firestarter on Fedora Core 4. The fedora core 4 firewall and SELinux are both disabled. When Firestarter is enabled, I cannot access my Samba shares from my Windows computers. It claims the netbios name "fedora" does not exist. If Firestarter is disabled, it works fine.

I've read all the documentation for Firestarter already and couldn't find any solutions. Samba is set to an allowed service under Firestarter Policies. (The policies have also been applied)

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
// Matt

Firestarter is a just a (silly) frontend to iptables,it generates an iptables script. It would be very useful if you could post this iptables script there, as the problem is probably due to firestarter blocking a port that it should not.

(btw, this kind of problem happen really often using automated GUI tool to build up a firewall script... iptables isn't that hard,I would really suggest to write your own script, it would be a lot better)
