FIDO over http ???

Hi,
Maybe the topic reads "ISP" on home computer. So, I want people to dial me (trought 56K modem), connect and browse pages form my PC. The main idea is, that they connect to me as they do with the Internet.
Any ideas/links/etc?
Thanks.

Sounds like you want to set up a PPP dial-in server. Heres a couple of documents that should give you a start:

http://www.swcp.com/~jgentry/pers.html
http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/PPP-HOWTO/

Then you can set up a web server, such as Apache: http://httpd.apache.org

Счастливо!

Thanks alot!!!
Especially for the link to apache -- I'm using it for a 127.0.0.1 testing for over a year...
These HOWTO/Tutors are quite well. Hope some time later I will get it up running from 24:00 till 8:00
Because I have only 1 telepnone line in my flat...
