I am setting up a new system, and would like to get all of the e-mail settings for my users correct this time ;-)
I am using a sendmail/procmail/pine combo. (I might move to mutt, but would rather not)
1: How would I set the smtp server of my isp OTHER than in the pine configuration? I think there should be a configuration file out there, but I can't find it.
2: How can I alter the "from" section of (outgoing)e-mails? With pine, I always get :
"from <system_user>@myisp.net", where I want:
"from <isp_username>@myisp.net"
Well, I'm still Google'n around for answers to my other problems, but maybe someone can help me with this?

Thanks. I ended up getting exactly the information I needed from the 'Sendmail-Address-Rewrite' Mini how-to. It was a good source for a virgin sendmail configurator like me.
I did end up throwing this line in the pinerc so that I can change any of the headers on-the-fly if I need:
