dns


hi,
i see that every time when i add entry in forward or reverse zone i must to restart named in order that this new entry to be seen.
is there other way besides the restart?

is any setting in zone file to achieve it automatically in very short time?

You can use

rndc reload <zone-name>

You can use a small TTL value in master zonefile, so slaves are getting notified sooner
