/dev/ttyUSB0

Im using RedHat 8.0 and im trying to dial to web via webbox (gprs modem). When i try to launch wvdial it says /dev/ttyUSB0 no such device. And i have also tried kppp but there is no choice to setup modem to use /dev/ttyUSB0.
Before redhat i was using SuSE 8.1 and i was able to dial to web via kinternet. Im not sure but maybe some smpppd is needed or what.
