Hi, I'm not sure how to do this and can find nothing on the internet specifically about it.

At a part time job of mine we have a samba domain controller that works well with all the workstations (consisting of XP and W2K machines).

We are finding we need to install new workstations but would like to avoid purchasing windows software for them as they don't really need any windows specific software, but it would be nice for them to be able to join the samba domain for file sharing.

How would I go about this?

As i understand you want to add new machine in your network and you don't want to use windows machine and you want to use linux machine to access samba share.

you can use mount commnad to moun samba share on linux machine.
