CVS Problem in RHEL5


hi..

while connect through cvs i am geting this error


connect to 192.168.1.8:2401 failed: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

plese help me

with regards

Check firewall and the authentication mechanism.

If you do not know how to deal with iptables, then install a GUI tool like guarddog. Get the latest. After that it will be easy. The default settings will be to 'drop' cvs
