Cups, Samba and multiple copies

I have an HP DeskJet 842C hooked up to my network and shared via a Cups/Samba server. Linux works well, as I can print multiple copies; on both my WinXP machines, though, multiple copies are not allowed. I don't believe it is a permissions problem, as I can print multiple copies over Linux with the same users.

I've tried connecting with IPP also, and still no go with multiple copies.

Has anyone else ran into this problem? I'm looking into getting a LaserJet, but if I can't print multiple copies with that, it'll be kind of pointless (my wife likes to print lots of things, and many copies of things).
