Printing multiple copies

I have a RH9 print server with a LPT1 connection to a HP970cse printer.

I have had success making my other Linux boxes and Winders boxes print to it.

However, when you try to send multiple copies from the Winders box it only prints one copy.

Does anyone know the quick & dirty fix to this?

Thanks in advance,

Bill

Sometimes if there is a collate box in the windows printer properties, that needs to be unchecked.

We have tried it both ways, still the same result.

Interestingly, under the Advanced tab of the printer setup page, there is an option to collate which is checked and grayed out. Also, there is spinner box on that same page for number of copies but the spinner doesn't work and it won't let you change the value manually.

Thanks for responding, homey...

If you access printer properties from the Start/Settings/Printers... you may have better luck changing the collate option.

Hi, homey...

unfortunately the collate option is grayed out in both places.

I'm wondering if there is a setting in the print queue that needs to be changed... with SWAT?

I'll have a look there next.

Thanks for the suggestion, though.
