CUPS/SAMBA's not clearing the printer queue
We have in here a Debian server running CUPS and SAMBA, controlling a domain, users logins and so on.
What happens is that after we've installed a program called SEFIP (It's a bank program from Brazil, don't mind about it), it started to not clear print jobs after the job is done.
Here's what /var/log/cups/error_log shows:
N [16/Jan/2006:08:04:35 -0200] [Job 15] : Print file accepted - job ID 22.
I [16/Jan/2006:08:06:11 -0200] Adding start banner page "none" to job 16.
I [16/Jan/2006:08:06:11 -0200] Adding end banner page "none" to job 16.
I [16/Jan/2006:08:06:11 -0200] Job 16 queued on 'xerox415' by 'SERGIO'.
I [16/Jan/2006:08:06:11 -0200] Started backend /usr/lib/cups/backend/ipp (PID 57
68) for job 16.
To be honest, I don't see any problems when I read it and I would say that there's a problem, but since it's written in a file called "error_log", I guess that it's not such a good thing.
It prints the document, all works fine, but it doesn't clear the finished jobs. In a certain point, I can't print anymore...
If anybody has a clue about it or passed through this problem, please tell me!
