Connection reset by peer

I have a Mandrake 9.1 box with Samba on it. All workstations are Windows XP and the Samba domain. Every now and then, the samba log shows "read failure for 4. Error = Connection reset by peer". The user then is disconnected from the samba services. The client pc basicaly refuses to do anything for a half a minute and then Samba connects to services again and the client is off and running again. (That happens with all 9 workstations exept one older machine but also running Windows XP)

Anyone having a Idea what could cause the reset ?

Mike
