How can I make my linux (mint 17 mate) to connect to nearest wifi automatically and if it is unavailable (or suddenly unplugged) then connect or switch to next nearest automatically?
Regards

Isn't this the default? Are you using NetworkManager or something else (like wicd)? Have you manually connected to the wifi networks at least once?

I am using Network Manager. Firs time I have connected to both access points manually. Their SSIDs are 'Wifi-1' and 'Wifi-2'. Wifi-2 is nearer to me but sometimes it is unplugged. But Linux Mint is always connecting to 'Wifi-1' which is farther. I have selected to "Automatically connect to this network when it is available" in the properties of both Wifis but still linux is connecting to farther wifi at every boot even when nearer wifi is available.
