Hi, Wilspeak. I have experience a problem similar to this a number of times. It seems that some wireless adapters have some compatibility problems when it comes to consistency.

I have resolved this by keeping an inexpensive USB Belkin adapter on hand which so far has always worked the first time and every time with each flavor of Linux that I have tried.

You can usually find them on www.tigerdirect.com for under $10.00.

After successfully connecting to the Internet, I usually browse around and try to find drivers for the adapter that fails.

I believe the $10.00 backup resource might not be a bad thing to keep in the toolbox.

Wink going to try EZ TETHER

Thank you, LARRY JAMES. I'm going to look into that USB BELKIN ADAPTER. LINUX zorin. Live CD wont connect to wireless internet either. But it never did. Unlike Linux mint which connected to Google the first time I used it. But then after which it didn't. I was thinking about trying EZ TETHER (android USB tether app) what do you think. Appreciate your response

If it's an adapter/driver issue then you won't be able to connect to any wireless network. I'm not sure if that is the issue that you're describing. Are you able to see a list of the available wireless networks?

Are you able to see your wireless adapter with the command:

Code:
lsusb
