Configuring DHCPCD to Support DHCPNACK or DHCPACK


Can any only help we are running a debian ARM based system and would like help in configring to support DHCPACK & DHCPNACK? or should we goy DHCP Client?

I'm not quite clear on what you're asking, are you wanting to handle dhcp packets without a dhcp client ? .. what would you do with them ?

It configuring DHCPCD to handle NACK and ACK the same way and windows machine would. I think we have router issue but works ok on a windows pc with DHCP I was wondering if we need an additional option / module in our kernel with dhcpcd or should we be using the latest version of this?

No, it should work fine - there are no extra modules required.

updating to dhcpcd v5 has fixed our problem.
